The event will be hosted from Dec 2024 to March 2025, and will be conducted by a panel filled with esteemed personalities that are experts in different areas of rural development, be it agriculture, finance, education, resource management, technology, and more.

The aim of the panel will be to witness the progress made by the leadership in their respective villages, in specific topics of development. The discussions they will have will allow the panellists to understand the challenges faced by specific sarpanches and what they have had to do – from innovative solutions to creative problem solving – to overcome those challenges. This will allow the panel to come to an informed decision on the performance of an individual Sarpanch.

After having entered into conversation with the creators of progress, Gram Pradhans, Mukhiyas and decision makers, they will nominate those who have made outstanding and remarkable progress in the rapidly developing region that is Maharashtra’s countryside.
